About The Beaumont Centre Cheshunt

The Beaumont Centre was established in March 1972 following a 7 year campaign to provide a centre for the elderly people of Cheshunt.

The Centre originally cost £18,000 to build and received funding from the old Cheshunt Urban District Council, Hertfordshire County Council and The Cheshunt & District Old Peoples Welfare Committee.

We aim to provide a 5 day service offering a range of facilities including hot meals, dancing, card games, painting, craftwork, bingo and much much more.

The centre is operated and managed by 2 wardens, cook, assistant cook, kitchen helper and a cleaner and, of course, many volunteers who give up their spare time to support us.

We are a registered charity (number 263721)
